ISB - The International School of Bangkok

This is where we will be working for the next two years.
It has been a busy few months getting to know the new staff, facility and our new roles. More specifics to come later but for now this will give you a visual sense of where we are during the week.

So far we are really impressed!!

Nichada Thani - Our new home

Touch down in Thailand!

Nichada Thani is Thailand's first planned community and it is also our new home. This surreal gated community contains our school (The International School of Bangkok) and is home to many upper class Thai families and ex-pats. On our walk to school (10 min) it is not uncommon to see adults and students rolling by in cars, scooters and golf carts on their way to work and school. Nichada has a lake at its center which seems to be filled with some sort of huge mutant fish which can be seen to jump out of the water as you walk by.

Our condo complex is called Samakee Gardens and we are slowly settling in to our new place. We have bought plants, hired a maid (it's sort of expected !!) and have started to make it our own. We are on the ground floor and have only to walk 5 feet and we are at the pool.

Moving Away!!

The month of July was crazy for us. We managed to pack in a few parties, a ton of good byes and an awesome birthday! Check out the cake below :) Thanks Katie!!
A big thank you to all of our friends for making saying farewell so fun and yet so hard. Even with the help of experienced movers we have come to the conclusion that "packing is no fun!"

Off to Thailand..........
